Six months ago I, like many writers, journalists, and bloggers, had opinions on E3. Today is six months exactly of providing Hot Takes on games that I’ve played. Some were new releases, some were classic titles, but it made me play more games than I typically would have in that period of time.

I tried to give unbiased opinions, but I’ll be the first to admit that nostalgia got the best of me sometimes. I’m proud of the identity I developed for it but as many commenters pointed out, these aren’t actual hot takes. That was never the point though. I enjoyed verbalizing my opinions, enjoyed creating the images that accompanied each, and enjoyed engaging in the comments.

I’ll be pausing Hot Takes till the beginning of the year, but they’ll definitely be returning in much the same format you’ve gotten used to. I’m hoping to spread into non-Nintendo platforms somehow too. But until then, for your enjoyment; six months of Hot Takes:
