A lot of us have been waiting for this since the Steam Controller launched. You can now edit controller configs from Desktop Steam instead of requiring it to be in Big Picture Mode. This is particularly useful for those of us who tweak and edit configs in detail. Now you are able to have a browser window open to show the game’s mappings while testing things. In addition to this you are also able to save profiles locally again. A recent update pushed everything to the cloud and introduced a lot of sync lag. We are now able to tell it when to save a profile to the cloud (after it’s been tweaked and tested). You need to be in Steam Beta to access these new features. Game controller configurations are now available as a right click option from the Game Library.
