Hey peoplez, Crisco here. We are only a few days out from Halloween. That night when old people hand out copious amounts of sugary goodness until they pass out of exhaustion, younger people drink copious amounts of alcohol until they pass out of intoxication, and still younger people eat copious amounts of candy until they pass out of diabetes.
So, in the spirit of Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween memory? No story is too small or weird. With that said, I do believe I have the winner :p
For me, it would probably be from about 12 years ago. My mother and step-father were still dating at the time and invited every single person we knew to an old factory building they had rented for Halloween night. It was a Halloween costume party. My mother and step-father showed up as Dracula and Mrs. Dracula. I was, of course, dressed as mini dracula (chibi-Dracula we will call it...).
Everyone else was dressed in random costume attire including zombies, a man with a hatchet sticking from his head, a nearly nekkid lady dressed as Lady Godiva, etc. Just about everyone knew each other except for a guy dressed up as a pastor who no one seemed to know. The party started at 10:30pm, and everyone was told they could not leave until after midnight as something very special would happen at the stroke of midnight. See where this is going yet?
Yeah, my parents got married at midnight on Halloween while dressed like Draculas in an old abandoned factory while everyone looked on dumbfounded that this was a legit thing. I still do not know how they convinced the pastor to do it....
In other news, my family is insane.
If you have no Halloween memories to share, then you are not exempt from this theme damnit. You must tell us what costume you would dress up as if you were to do Halloween this year (or costumes you have worn in the past perhaps??). Pics are welcome, but 100% optional.
But, let's say you really hate this theme and refuse. TOO BAD. At least tell us your favorite candy. DO EET. Reese's cups are da bomb!
Of course, I am kidding about sticking to the theme. As always, feel free to discuss anything you wish. THIS OPEN FORUM MAY NOW COMMENCE!
