Hello everyone, and welcome to the Open Forum, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life, video games, or anything else, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. Then, when you're done, feel free to peruse the articles on TAY and TAYClassic. Is this your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial!

On Saturday, I finally got A Link Between Worlds from my mother for Christmas. Basically that's all I played on Sunday and Monday, and I noticed something. I told my mother to get the guide with the game, because I really like having them to depend on. But I haven't touched it. And honestly, I don't want to. It has been so much fun just discovering things on my own. I find this is happening more and more with games. I don't look things up online or consult guides. I'm having more fun figuring out things on my own.

So how do you feel about guides, print or online?

If you don't want to talk about this, feel free to talk about anything!

And Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have good weekends!
