Hello everyone, and welcome to the Open Forum, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life, video games, or anything else, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. Then, when you're done, feel free to peruse the articles on TAY and TAYClassic. Is this your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial! Don't be afraid to go deeper and stop by the TAY IRC Chatroom, too.
Ohayo and happy (?) Monday. The weekends always go by too fast, especially when your longest class day in there to greet you at the beginning of the week. But anyway...gaming stuff. From mini-games in Zelda to most of Animal Crossing, we end up doing a lot of mundane life skills in gaming. I've never, say, felt like taking up fishing in real life because of Zelda. But sometimes my games seep into my everyday life. I think it's at least partly thanks to Persona that I've been trying some Japanese cooking here and there in the recent past. It's harder than it looks! I can make onigiri, gyoza, and bland curry...
