Hello again, it’s Tuesday-Tim-day. I’ll be your host for the day.
I had a bit of a dilemma this morning, TAY. Last year, after Memorial Day weekend, my office switched to a business casual dress code... or at least I thought it was that weekend. I checked my work email after I woke up around 5:30 to no avail— nothing saying that we’d be switching.
Enter the question of the ages: what to do? Do I go in, confident that it was this particular weekend that marked the end of business formal? Or do I overdress for the off chance my mind was misleading me? The choice might seem obvious, but also keep in mind a suit on a humid day is a very uncomfortable experience. More importantly, for our topic: it got me thinking about other occasions where I was either over/under dressed or the clothes didn’t fit the occasion.
Tell us about a time when you weren’t dressed for the occasion! Forget your fire resist gear for Ragnaros, or your nature resist for Princess Huhuran? Did you bring your Tetsucabra set to fight a water monster? BRING A GUN TO A KNIFE FIGHT?
That said, don’t feel obligated to stick to the topic— feel free to discuss whatever you like! Come, take a seat. Relax for a bit!
