This weekend I attended San Francisco’s Treasure Island Music Festival. It’s the first time I went to this type of event so it’s an experience all it’s own to see the kind of people that get down to EDM. Lots of bros apparently!

So while I greatly enjoyed the performances from Big Boi (of Outkast), Phantogram, DeadMau5, and Run The Jewels there’s one aspect that kinda dragged it all down and that’s the crowd. A show is only as good as the people attending and in my opinion festival attendees are there just to brag about it and the music comes 2nd. Music should be the #1 priority if you’re willing to pay the insane prices for these events! Don’t go to a show just cause you vaguely know of a few performers!

Ok I’ll step off my soapbox now.

What are some of your best/worst concert experiences? If that’s not givin you chill vibes tell us of a concert you’d LOVE to attend but haven’t had the chance!
