Happy Wednesday, everyone! We're almost halfway through the standard work week. If you have a non-standard work week, then I have no idea what this day is to you other than another Wednesday. Today's image is brought to you by none other than the TAY famous author who never posts anything to the main page, but posts lots of stuff about his awesome game on TAYCLASSIC.
Let's get right into it, shall we? This image is great because it's a nice lead in to anime-licensed games. Some of my favorites include the Naruto: Clash of Ninja games for the GCN and Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden 2 for the SNES. Oh, and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz for the SNES. I was never a big Gundam Wing fan, but that fighting game was just so damn TIGHT. I still go back and play it every now and then.
As for least favorite anime tie-in games (I'm sure you all have plenty of these), I can list Bleach: the Shattered Blade for the Wii. I enjoyed it when I first got it, and the fan service was top notch (I mean, Ulquiorra as a playable character before he was even show on the anime in the states?), but let's be honest here. The game was a freaking waggle fest. Lots of fighting games you can get by with coordinated button mashing. This game, you got by with pseudo-coordinated controller waggling.
So, fellow Kotakuites, what are your favorite and least favorite anime tie-in video games? Maybe you can open up my eyes to some really great gems that I missed back in the day, or warn me off some really, really bad games. Help a brother out!
Talk about video games and anime over at TAYCLASSIC, where the conversation never ends. You better believe it! That's right, I went there. I went there...
New to TAY? Want to know how this crazyness all works? Then give this a read!
