Hello TAY! Another Wednesday. Another day I regal you with tales of my incompetence.
Yesterday, I had a thought as I was flying over Hyrule headed towards Death Mountain, but in the same breath (heh heh) doing everything in my power to avoid Death Mountain. Sure enough when I got there, I couldn’t make it to the tower because I got overwhelmed by heat. Fire, more precisely. My shield burnt to a crisp. My wooden staff. Link was on fire. It was a mess.
I am not that great at open world games. The latest Zelda has been a learning experience but given my many years playing, I feel like I’m putting those skills to use. I’m not doing as poorly as I expected but I also feel as though I’ve done so much and yet done so little. If Nintendo accurately logged my time (and I had activated parental controls sooner), I’d probably have a very long record of play time and still I haven’t even done that much to save Hyrule. It doesn’t feel that way, anyhow.
