HEELLLLOOOOOOOOO TAY!

eep!

I mean, hello TAY. Shhh... I finally decided to end my game of hide & seek with Battleborn. Honestly, I don’t think he was ever really looking. But just in case we play again in the future, don’t let him know exactly where I was. I can use it to my advantage next time.

Annnyyywway, now that I’ve sneakily snuck my way out of my week long basement hidey-hole abode, I return with lots of thoughts of hiding places and sneaking around actions on the brain.

It’s partially thanks to Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer’s new “shimmy through tight spaces” feature. To say that my life has forever been changed is an understatement. Enlightment, TAY. Shimmying is the best. Not entirely useful. Not entirely useless. Zen, nonetheless.

But then there’s no better sneak than Spike from Ape Escape. Better than your Snake! Almost as adorable as Link’s. Not only does he sneak, he gets his soundtrack to sneak with him. When he goes into the sneaking position, the music quiets down so as to not give away his location. Music maestro, that one. World Class Hide-n-Seek player.

We could all learn a lot from Spike. So this week, as you go shimmying about your business, remember to sneak around corners just for fun. Maybe spring a trap on an unsuspecting friend. Not a mean one, mind you. No, because that would just get you punched in the face, or a rocket launcher to your gut. Just like those monkeys did to me all those years ago...

For Today’s Suggested Topic(s):

  • Tell us your best, sneakiest prank. Maybe you were a Halloween trickster, got up to some April Fools’ shenanigans. or tried to feed your sister no meat all week on the sly.
  • Your favourite childhood game. Was it hide n’ seek? The Legend of Zelda? Hopscotch? Pac-Man? Pitching marbles? If you had any great childhood stories, let us know. If you played Hide n’ Seek, what was your favourite place to hide?
  • Your favourite sneaky, under-handed character in a video game, book, tv show.

As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves if ain’t nobody got time for hiding! It is the Open Forum, after all. Don’t forget that the Discord Chatroom is always around too for continuing, real-time conversations. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend a shout: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.

This game, no thanks...
