Hello TAY!

As is tradition—one I only just started—today is the day where I take a picture related to something I saw at E3 and mark it up in comic sans, much to the dismay of some.

What about the abundance of dogs (and not-quite-dog-like creatures who know how to dog) and bears in our future games, huh? So much cuddly, mechanical and fearsome. It’s a great time for both animals—despite reports Sony is intent on killing off our little friends in the real world— although I suspect the bears are perceived as threats. If Lara Croft hurts that bear, we’ll toss the above stack at her. There’s no way she can best a stack of bears lead by our very own TAY bears.

Apart from dogs and bears, there’s also lots of talk of Final Fantasy.

We’re probably all settling down from the E3 announcements (or lack thereof) this week or maybe you didn’t concern yourself with it at all. That’s all dandy! So, going to keep it light today.

For today’s suggested topic(s):

  • A quiz:

Which Final Fantasy Job Class You Belong To

  • Now that dogs and bears are in, what should be our next video game animal we all swoon over? I know. Persona 4 was way ahead with Teddie and Persona 5 is now trying to set (continue?) the trend with cats. I was still hoping for more goats but Nate kinda...barreled over those, effectively sending a very strong message.

Poor goats...

(but ::swoon:: little Natey Drake. Also tradition.)

  • Whatever your thoughts on E3, Steam Sales, dogs, bears, goats, Hannibal, life, the results of the quiz that you are going to take (or else)...or maybe you just need to relax, post gifs — feel free to do so here and discuss whatever you want! Talk Amongst Yourselves, TAY. Talk Amongst Yourselves. Like they secretly do in Australia...

Pfft. They call that a knife themselves TAYbies.

As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves if ain’t nobody got time to sharing their feelings. Wait. Amending. It is the Open Forum, after all. Don’t forget that the IRC Channel is always around for you to carry out discussions as well. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend a shout: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.

  • I believe this is what the TAYveyard Crew would call, “A Vanilla Edition”:
