Hello everyone, and welcome to the Open Forum, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life, video games , or anything else, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. Then, when you're done, feel free to peruse the articles on TAY and TAYClassic. Is this your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial! Also, don't forget the new IRC Chatroom.

One more week down, TAYers! I can't help but be a little excited as the weeks are going by. Sure, the ending of summer is great and all, but it seems like there's so much stuff to look forward to. Maybe I'm just right in that mood where I'm getting the hang of class and feel like I can take on the world, or maybe I'm just setting myself up for a big burnout. I'm not really sure yet, but we'll probably find out in the weeks to come.

The reason I bring this up, though, is because I've completely shifted my mode of operation from procrastinating to brute-forcing everything and getting it out of the way as soon as possible. It feels pretty good! I'm not worried about falling behind in classes whenever certain games come out in the next few weeks (Destiny, ArcheAge, Hyrule Warriors, I'm looking at you). And although I'm writing this at 3am, I'll totally contradict myself and say that you all should try your hardest to have a productive weekend!

Go out! Play with the family pet! Don't be oblivious to friends! Give birthday punchies to a certain Swan! It's all good. Just make sure it's memorable and you've accomplished at least one thing, because dark days of unproductiveness are coming in fast.

Or you can screw all that jazz so you can stick here and talk with us! Feel free to talk about life, love, gaming, or whatever else you desire. The Saturday Open Forum is now open!
