So Long March Break.
This weekend my family will bid farewell to March Break. Other than my wife getting sick, we had a great relaxing week. We travelled to Toronto (only an hour south of us) and visited the Ripley's Aquarium one day and the Royal Ontario Museum the next day. We met up in Toronto with my parents and due to a reservation screw up at the hotel, we ended up getting upgraded to a palatial penthouse suite which was very nice for visiting with the folks.
Aside from a smattering of Minecraft and Disney Infinity with my kid, I have only had one night for gaming all week so I am eagerly looking forward to getting my groove on with The Elder Scrolls Online final beta this weekend. Oh right, I did play a couple hours of the Chroma alpha earlier in the week as well. My forgetting that I had played it pretty much sums up my feelings about it. They just emailed me that they've tweaked it some, so I'll get back to it when I am done with Elder Scrolls Online.
Borderlands 2 was my only gaming this week and my friend and I are still enjoying our time with it. The game seems to be generally scaling the difficulty well, though I would definitely appreciate it more if it were a fair bit tougher. We've clocked in 30 hours so far and we are still enjoying ourselves, so they must have done something right. I'm not sure I really understand the Telltale Borderlands game coming out. Did anyone think the writing and story in Borderlands 2 was interesting enough to build a story-based game out of?
So, that was it for me this week and this weekend will be hopefully filled with Elder Scrolls Online. I imagine loads of people are felling Titans and darkening their souls. What are you playing this weekend?
