Hey-ho! Welcome to the The Graveyard Shift, hosted by Kotaku’s reader-run blog, TAY. Feel free to join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything, or check out the other articles on TAY, AniTAY and TAYClassic. Is this is your first time on TAY? Then scope out this TAYTorial!

Guys... I just got my copy of Sonic Colors. This game is gorgeous and... surprisingly fun! I’ve always heard good things about this game, like how it was the only good Sonic title from the last generation (and for what I’ve played I would say it’s even better than the SA titles).

I wasn’t expecting much, after all even the good games have disappointed me in the past. Some of you know of my frustration towards the Sonic Adventure series and how they’ve aged like a milk carton left out of the fridge on a humid summer day. Sonic Colors is different and while I haven’t played much I think this will be my first positive experience with a Sonic game since Sonic 3 for the Genesis.

There’s no topic for tonight’s GS. Feel free to talk about whatever you want to talk about, be it love, music, food or video games.

Tonight’s Jam is the credits theme from Sonic 3, a song that bears an uncanny resemblance to Michael Jackson’s Stranger in Moscow... I wonder why...

As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves, specially if you are hungry like me (or you don’t like tonight’s topic as much as I thought you would)! It is the Graveyard Shift, after all. Don’t forget that the IRC Channel is always around for you to carry out discussions as well. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend/enemy a shout: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.
