Welcome, one and all, to yet another meeting of AniClub!
1. Do not discuss past the covered episode in the post. Because people are expected to have already watched the week's episodes, spoiler tags are unnecessary.
2. If you've seen the series beforehand, please don't ruin the fun for others and spoil the story (especially with Steins;Gate!). Discussion of such material is not prohibited but please exercise caution in posting. If you really wish to discuss material further along than what we've watched (which is fun for a series like Steins;Gate because of the time travel mechanic which reveals unexplained stuff in the earlier episodes), please put bountiful and large spoiler warnings. Replies to spoiler-y material should also have spoiler warnings.
3. GIFs are appreciated. Have fun and be nice or whatever!
So, we've come at last to what I call the "wish fulfillment" part of Steins;Gate. It's not as Slice-of-Life-y as I remember!
How do you feel about Moeka's inclusion? Lots of things remain mysterious about her and I'd love to hear what you speculations are on her!
What do you think about their wishes? Ruka's is just pure gold. What do you think would be the consequence of all this tampering with time and space and stuff?!!?!
If I had a wish I'd tell my past self not to fail all those math classes ;A;
I also still don't know whether it's Faris, Feyris, Fayris or whatever, have to keep looking it up when I write it.
I really can't say much about this set of episode. As I've told you, this part is kind of like the "rising action" part of Steins;Gate. They're not terribly remarkable but they're entertaining and they set a lot of things up. Are you feeling that the show is starting to feel a bit cliched or something? What with all the running around fulfilling wishes because they have a time machine, you might be feeling exactly that. Just hold on!
We are very much nearing the turning point. I promise you guys, the next episodes will be exciting.
And now, GIFS.
Please don't forget to watch the next three episodes of Steins;Gate (7-9) for next week's meeting.
