To elaborate a bit on what I say in the video:
- The game is still being worked on, and has changed its engine from RPG Maker to StarCraft II. I've got some experience with SC2 modding from my past endeavors, and about two months ago, I saw one of my old friends having his map featured on the front page of SC2mapster. So I was like "might as well give it a shot with Starcraft, what do I have to lose?"
- As it turned out, not only are all of the planned gameplay features possible with the StarCraft II engine, but all the varied graphical assets of the base game help me realize the game without sacrificing or improvising on any of the unique locations and enemies I had planned. Hence the "perfect fit".
- I found some help as well, so it's no longer a one-man show. I've got a level designer as well as a concept artist. They help me give this thing the cutting edge.
On a side note, I'm still looking for voice actors. If you're interested, contact me via e-mail and I'll put you on a list. Once I got all the various roles and lines finalized, I'll let you know and the audition process can begin.
