Here is a recap of the past week of Anime related news, but this time with a little twist: News that got me excited but that I'm ashamed of admitting that I was, indeed, excited. That feeling better known as Guilty Pleasure.
I have some questionable tastes, so a little reader discretion is advised (not much, though)
So, let's start with confession number 1, I have to admit that I enjoy my fair share of well written ecchi , as example of that I have to say that I really like To Love-Ru but I hate Maken-Ki Anime. Then someday for some random reason I ended up reading the first 5 chapters of this little manga called Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okaishiin Da Ga which will be translated to something like "Lately, My Little Sister's Been Acting A Bit Strange, But" and I Liked what I saw. A romantic comedy manga about a girl named Mitsuki Kanzaki who lives with her step-brother Yūya after her mother remarries (Clichéd I know, but I like Cliché). One day, Mitsuki is possessed by the self-proclaimed spirit of a young girl, Hiyori Kotobuki. Hiyori (in Mitsuki's body) must fall in love with Yūya to move towards the "Gates of Heaven" but of course with some questionable consequences, you know, like this sounding like incest. It was announced that the Manga will get an Anime Adaptation that will air this next January and it's embarrassing to admit that I will watch it but whatever.
So first a little summary:
The story centers around Ōsai Academy, a former all-girls private high school which has recently been integrated for both genders. The student body is split between 524 girls and 28 boys. Takatoshi Tsuda is pushed into becoming the vice-president of the student council, where he is the lone male member surrounded by girls.
Sounds like just another run-of-the-mill harem Anime right? (Hehe in fact I like those too), but the twist here is that for some reasons the girls seems like they're always thinking about sex, but in a somewhat perverted, I-didn't-expected-that way with a lot of double entendres, so hilarity ensues as our main character is always throw for a loop. As one of the VA put it "I think it's a good thing that we're able to talk about erotic things in a humorous tone. However, you must not say any of the jokes in the manga in public! At the least, just talk among guys, or in the corner of a club room, or in [the chat app] Line... Boys, be ambitious!". I enjoyed the first season so I'm excited for a recharged second season full again of double entendres, and so what? well confession #2 I like double entendres and this show.
The Interwhat you ask? The International Saimoe League or ISML for short, is some kind of fan site with one mission:
Our mission is to discover who is the most moe among anime girls,
and it's up to you to decide by casting your vote!
So yeah, this is a site with the objective of deciding by majority of vote who is the most Moe character among the vast cast of anime girls. So confession #3 I participated on this, and my vote was for Nanami on the first round, but being pair against former winner Misaka Mikoto was just to much, but I know some of you will be happy with the results, why, you ask? well this year winner was:
Speaking of Misaka, there is going to be a Cafe offering foods and drinks, you know? Like any other Cafe, the twist? Is going to be fully To Aru Kagaku no Railgun themed, and the Gekota Roll looks delicious-
So confession time!! tell me about your Guilty Pleasures, please, don't leave me alone in this.
