I came to Japan around 2 1/2 years ago. Since then, I've been getting keychains more than I ever have in my entire life. Keyholders, rubber straps, charms, you name it. Japan has an affinity of turning everything into keychains. I thought I'd show you off a few favorites from my personal collection.

Here's my box. It broke once, so I had to quickly tape the bottom. It's actually a limited edition Mana Khemia box. I didn't want to throw it away or anything, so I filled it with keychains.

Here are some of my favorites out of the box.

Shōko from Kyousougiga. Fun fact about the kuji (lottery) this came from. It was EXTREMELY popular. I tried to go to an arcade to draw lots 4 hours after arcades opened on release day, and the clerk told me that the kuji ran out of all lots within 2 hours. WHAT

So, I traveled, and found one or two places with a few prizes left. Never the figure I wanted. And so, I got a few clear folders, and this rubber strap.

I looked hard for this one, and grabbed it when it came on Amazon. Since I wasn't here during Erementar Gerad's broadcast, there aren't a lot of goods I can buy... Cisqua is my favorite character in ALL of anime and manga, so it's a disappointment I can't find her bigger gashapon figure. Anyway, Cisqua bundled with money. Pretty fitting. Also, wow, what the heck is the cord that connects this? Red elastic cord tied in a rough knot at the end...

A few of the Sailor Moon mini-chains I own. I customized the Sailor Moon one by connecting the two earring headphone jacks to the figure. I never use headphone jacks anyway.

This is probably what a lot of people saw in the first photo. It's definitely one of the more nifty ones I own. A Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. What makes it so spiffy?

This is a pretty rare strap. It came out recently, yes, but it was released only with the Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii DVD/Blu-ray box, which cost around $250. It's very cute. ^^

One of the four Magic Knight Rayearth keychains I have. I chose to show off Umi, since she's my favorite. I also own Hikaru, Lantis, and Fuu.

My friend found this Princess Garnet CocaCola figurine for me in Akihbara. It's SUPER old. To think, this came out when I was... 8? 9? And now, 13 years later, I have it in my hands. Wait... 9... 13... Are you saying there's a connection!? *stops conspiracies* Anyway, Garnet is my favorite character in all of video gaming (with Jakuri from Ar Tonelico 2 in second), so to have something of her makes me very happy.

Don't care WHAT you say, these two are a couple. :3 I bought these The Last Naruto the Movie keychains at J-World Tokyo after going to see the film on opening day. They were very pricey (8 bucks each), but I regret nothing! If I regret anything, it's that I didn't get Naruto and Hinata as well...

These two are kind of a set? One is a cushion keychain from Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future that was pretty rare, since the cranegames that had these were only a few kids' centers. The other is a mini diary keychain for the feminine fashion element from Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live.

Four of my very favorites! In one limited edition manga volume, rubber straps of the Zettai Karen Children female leads Kaoru, Shiho, and Aoi were packaged, and in another, rubber straps of the male leads Minamoto, Sakaki, and Hyoubu were included. I like these two couples, so I chose them. Strange that Hyoubu is the only one who is not fated with a member of The Children...

These two come from the HoriMiya volume 6 manga limited edition package. They're just so darn cute. I connected them together, but they're really supposed to be separate.

The four Ojamajos! I hope they release keychains of Motto and Dokkan too! I love Ojamajo Doremi. Maybe this is hinting at a possible Ojamajo Doremi 16 anime? :D

Do you guys have any anime and game keychains you've collected? Show me!
