If you, like me, leave your Battle.net client open (because honestly, why wouldn't you?), you might have noticed that World of WarCraft has just received a super substantial update! That's right, the pre-patch for Warlords of Draenor is here! The servers go live in just under half an hour, hopefully (Reportedly 11AM PST). Update: As was somewhat expected, rolling out such a substantial patch to so many servers at once, patch launch has been delayed an hour, to 12PM PST.
With this patch comes an exhaustive megalist of crazy changes to the game, especially to classes, with ability pruning, stat squishing, etc. But there are other things, too, like the Toy Box, updated character models, more void storage, bag sorting, vendor trash being marked, etc. Upper Blackrock Spire has gotten a bit of a facelift, in the form of a Lv. 90 version for people to start running, because why not? And let us not, of course, forget about the Iron Tide event taking place in the Blasted Lands! Last night, people gathered to say farewell to the Old Dark Portal.
If you'd like as close to a tl;dr of the patch notes as possible, Panzer of Tradechat, made a handy video summary of some of the biggest, most noteworthy changes being made. It's 21 minutes long, but I'd say that's pretty forgiving in terms of length, given just how many changes there are.
Anyway, I hope to see you all later in Azeroth! FOR THE HORDE!
(Also, totally feel free to add me if you'd like, Kaiiboraka#1990!)
UPDATE: The servers are now live! Jump on in! :D
