Cooking With TAY: Peanut Butter Pie

Illustration for article titled Cooking With TAY: Peanut Butter Pie

While there have been many recipes for lunch and dinner, dessert has been woefully missing. That's OK, Seething is here to put some extra pounds on that waist. Grab your spatula and keep your epipen handy just in case. Oh, and because some readers may be smart enough to French kiss a light socket:

WARNING: The following recipe may contain nuts

Things you will need:

  • 1 Cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 12 oz container (about 4 1/2 cups) of frozen whipped topping
  • 1 premade chocolate pie crust
  • 1 11.75 oz jar of hot fudge topping

Take the peanut butter, cream cheese and sugar and beat them in a large bowl with a mixer until well combined. Gently mix 3 cups of the whipped topping in until thoroughly combined. Spoon the mixture into the pie shell.

Take the hot fudge topping and nuke that sucker (microwave) for 1 minute on HIGH. Stir it for consistency. Spread the topping over the pie, covering completely. Place pie in fridge until set. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the hot fudge layer.

That's it, enjoy your pie. Seething Hatred is not responsible for anaphylactic shock.
