Welcome to Craf-TAY Corner, the monthly feature that showcases the creative side of Talk Amongst Yourselves. If you have any kind of creative hobby from drawing to cosplay to interpretive dance with GI Joe figures, we want to see it. Use this thread as an opportunity to talk about your ongoing or upcoming projects.

With the house still in the middle of work and an Artist Alley coming up, all I’ve time for (when I’m not having even that time interrupted) is working on prints, prints and more prints. The Legend of Zelda chibis are for some paper craft products that I plan to sell. I also finished this Rocket and Stitch print last week and finished the sketch for my Final Fantasy VI drawing (which I really need to kick into gear if I want that sucker actually done by September...)

Instead I’m going to feature a couple of things my mom does. Anyone who has known me over TAY these past couple of years know that I’m very close with my mom, and she is also the one who got me into do crafty and arty things to begin with. What you may not know is that she is a mega talented knitter. Her current forte is doing miniature knitting for fashion dolls. Which means working with really thin yarn, with tiny stitches on really skinny needles (that she happens to make herself as well.) These are just a couple of the things she’s done, and if you want to check out more, she has a blog called Danka Zee.

As for the rest of the TAY community you guys have been really busy and have gotten a lot of cool stuff done. Resident guy-who-makes-every-other-artist-on this-site-look-bad Stormborn finished his next series of Pokemon a Day sketches while Rachel Fogg got one of her art pieces included in the Udon Capcom tribute book which will be available at SDCC. Division-ten finished her epic Ratchet fursuit done, complete with Clank and Pink Zapper Helmet is trying to rally the troops to get us to make a game. I really suggest you guys check it out! And Habboi’s game, A Hat in Time is now entering Beta, so give that a check as well.

As always, if you have a project that you’ve finished, are in the middle of or are thinking about starting, post in the thread below to show it off. We love seeing everything, so don’t be shy! And if you want to get featured next month, don’t forget to tag your threads with ‘Craf-TAY Corner’ so I can find it in the wild and expansive wilderness that is Kinja. If you have any questions you can either ask me in the thread or contact me directly on my Con-TAY-ct page.
