Welcome to Craf-TAY Corner the monthly feature that showcases the creative side of Talk Amongst Yourselves. If you have any kind of creative hobbies, from cosplay to model painting, even if it’s not strictly gaming related, this is the place to talk about and show off your latest projects.

September was sort of a slow month for me because I’ve been having a lot happening in my personal life. One thing I am trying to get done, hell or high water, is my Halloween costume. I didn’t get a chance to finish it last year and the idea is just too good to let it go. It might be awfully difficult for you to see what is actually going on. But this is just a full scale sketch I needed before I can start making the pattern. After doing this I realized for my project I probably want a prop that will be half-scale as well. It won’t be as accurate, but I figured sacrificing a little realism for comedy is not a bad trade off.

While I’ve been relatively slow, the other TAYers haven’t been. Every Sunday JpSr388 has been hosting a Sunday Draw feature letting folks show off their neat little doodles. Meanwhile Harmar has been really making us all look bad by taking on the amazing task of building a Mario Cart garage for their kids. So far it’s looking really awesome and I suggest you check out all their previous builder diaries to see the progress. Finally, Kidechka has been running a writing contest for horror stories. You should enter if you like horror and the idea of victory pizza.

If you have a project you’re starting, working on or just finished, please share it with us. We love seeing the things people work on and this is a great place to get feedback. If you have a project you want featured on Craf-TAY Corner, make sure you tag it craftay corner so I can find it in the digital jungle that is Kinja. If you have any questions, you can either ask me below in the thread or contact me directly on my Con-TAY-ct page.
