Depending on who you speak to the Double Fine Adventure kickstarter was either a complete success or absolute failure but either way it has been (and continues to be) one hell of a ride.

If you asked me as a backer, Id say that the entire experience has been one grand experiment that I have never regretted being a part of. Double Fine got to make the game they wanted to make and I got the game I expected to get. But regardless of our personal feeling about the game itself almost any backer will tell you that the documentary alone has been worth the price of admission and now everyone has the chance to experience it for themselves.
