I'm really feeling it!

Honest title: Sonic Boom: Downfall of the AAA Game Industry...

Yes, I did buy it, and I knew I shouldn't have, but I did it anyway. I hope my sacrifice will help people around the world not to do it. On this path to self destruction, I will walk alone. Hit play below if you dare.

First things first, I have to admit, the Cryoengine does make beautiful visuals on Wii U. I kinda like the stupid humour (what does that say about you, Shiryu? What does that say about you...) and I am even OK with my personal favourite Knuckles being turned into a dude-bro. They raise them big and dumb on his planet for sure. I think I will indeed give the TV show a try, a half an hour Sonic sitcom sounds good to me. So let JUDGEMENT begin:

There was a good game here. Maybe even a very good one. Sadly, it was left unpolished, unfinished, uncared for. Now that we know that most of the staff left halfway into production, we can comprehended how such a game could possibly end up at retail. It is along with Assassin's Creed Unity a great big badge of shame on the AAA video game industry. You DO NOT treat costumers like this, you do not ask 60 moneys for a "game" like this.

There are glaring frame rate issues, the cut scenes have very weird lag and pause at transitions, you can't really see in the video but the controls are so unnatural that they make Sonic Lost World look like a masterpiece. I finally give up on you, SEGA. I quit*. You will not see any more of my money until you clean up your act. To be fair, we all should have know. When Shadow The Hedgehog (at 15:32 on the video) looks on, turns around and simply walks away from the whole thing, you know you're in big, big trouble. This game is a disservice to Sonic fans, a disservice to the otherwise excellent Wii U and overall a painful history lesson for the future. Never again!

Play Loud, Play HARD! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ And for all that is holy, play something else.

* Oh the irony: Also buy Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal on 3DS! And guess what? It's an awesome game! You heard it here first folks, get your yearly Sonic fix on the 3DS.
