This is just a reminder that we are playing Mario Kart 7 on the 3DS at both 4pm EDT (8pm GMT) and at 9pm EDT (1am GMT) tonight.
Keep in mind that since it is the summertime, those of you who are accustomed to going off of GMT may be going off of GMT+1 instead due to Daylight Savings Time. Please ensure what time you are related to GMT (or EDT, for that matter) before trying to attend. The simplest way to do this would be by giving the post made on Saturday a read if you haven't done so already.
The community system inside of Mario Kart 7 permits TAY to have its own Game Night community. The community we will be utilizing was created by frogfro, which he discussed in the Saturday post:
"I've called it TAY Game Night! and the code to access it is 18-7003-0662-7593. It's a 150cc Grand Prix with all items on. Be sure to join if you're planning on playing on Wednesday."
*** IMPORTANT ***
Note that the community system is what will be utilized to play. Therefore, you must add yourself to the community to participate in tonight's Game Night.
Again the code for the community is: 18-7003-0662-7593
*** IMPORTANT ***
If you haven't joined the community, please do so or it will be very difficult for you to get involved (to my knowledge).
The basic rules are:
- Be respectful and kind to your fellow TAY users.
- Don't exploit or cheat.
- Just in general, play nice with others, and follow the golden rule.
There will be no sign up, just join the community and play!
Be sure to check out some of TAY's fantastic features, such as:
- The TUTorial for posting on TAY!
- The TAYlendar
- TAYClassic, our main source of TAY nostalgia
- The conTAYct list, to get in touch with me and tell me your deepest darkest secrets!
- The recent and ever-growing Game Night and mulTAYplayer community!
- We also now have a Steam community for Game Nights!
As a side note, I'll be headed off for the week by the time this goes up, most likely, so I'll take this as an opportunity to wish you all well and to have lots of fun in my absence.
I'll see if I can't find a way to hop on during the weekend to get another article up for next week's Game Night on Monday, but it will either be on the PC or not at all, so check the Steam calendar this weekend at the very least to see what's going on.
