Maybe this is the darkest timeline...

While my fellow Americans wait for Hyrule Warriors, I've been spending some quality time with the latest entry into the Warriors franchise. I have been playing trough Legend mode and recording as I go along. Here is a list of video so far, just in case you want to see what's the fuss all about. Of course that some of these contain spoilers, so you may want to refrain from paying too much attention to these if you want a fresh start next Friday.

The Lady of the huge sword.

What time is it? It's Adventure Time!

Sheik it, baby!

Lana del Win.

Lady of the huge sword returns.

The Darkest Link.

Lana on a stick.

Link in the Sky with Diamonds.

Stop! Hammer time.

Once upon a Midnight Princess.

A weapon of mass destruction named Fi.

Master of the Sword.

Great job kid! Now don't get cocky.

Well excuuuuuse me, Princess! *CAUTION: Spoilers from minute 44 onwards!*

Truly, a love letter to past Zelda titles. I would go farther and say this is my favourite game in the Warriors franchise made to date. When I bought a Wii U nearly two years ago, I did so I could enjoy Nintendo's IPs in HD, so it's always nice to see something quite unexpected coming along like this game and give me so many hours of fun.

And that brings me to my latest dilemma. I love this game, but had I not been following up on news and watching Nintendo directs, I would have loved it even more, because there would have been so many and such huge surprises that I can but be jealous of someone who will play this game first hand without any prior knowledge of what's inside. This is me standing on the knife's edge right there: Do I give up on staying well informed in order to fully experience surprise as I did back in the days where there was no Internet and jeopardize my ability to report accurate news story at TAY or do I keep on going fully spoiling the gaming experience months before hand so that I can take well informed decisions when spending my hard earned coins?

The Lord of the Triforce: The Fellowship of the Sword.

The challenges of living in the age of information. Play Hard, Play LOUD! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

PS: It would be cool to play the new Smash Bros without knowing the full roster too. Oh and deliver me from Bayonetta 2 story spoilers out of Japan as well.
