So a few Sundays ago, I shared speed paintings from my YouTube web series "SeeBonnyDraw" where you guessed it...You watch a dog doing backflips for treats.

Uhh..Actually, you get to see me, bonny, draw. Its kind of a simple premise like that. I set out to share and narrate my painting process for characters from all over pop culture last year, and just passing the 1st birthday on September 19, 2013, I'd love for you all to check out my work.
I've since shared Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, from Breaking Bad here on TAY thus far.

The latest artwork from the YouTube webseries features Sora, Kairi, and Riku. This is the end result:

And you can watch the episode here:

I've painted other characters from video games, such as Master Chief, Lara Croft, and Dante (new and classic) to name a few. I would love to hear what you think about my video game related art and commentary, cause feedback is what can help me get better at all of this.

Anyway, I draw these works for practice and, well, for the content of the video, and I select characters to feature for commemoration of current events in the world of pop culture. For example, Avatar fans can expect a Korra painting soon, since the show just began again.

Sora, Kairi, and Riku come back to us gamers in the form of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. To say the games influenced my art and dreams to work in the video game industry one day is an understatement. I also felt like the characters were all people I wanted to be friends with. These young teens were relatable to me and the games and series were those that were helpful in identifying key games of my teen years.

My question to you all, to start a discussion outside of just sharing my art and video, is...What game takes you back to a time since past? What game defines the various stages of your life? And how have they impacted you since?

Kingdom Hearts is a series that I love because of the clashing of worlds I've loved as a kid, in particular Disney, and then Square properties from my early teen years. The crossover was so strange but appealing, and Nomura's art style and direction, combined with memorable characters and a storyline that a teenager would love make this game very dear to me.

I hope you enjoy the art and check out the video! Be sure to share and/or subscribe to keep up with new releases, as I plan to release the gaming related episodes here and the other pop culture characters only every now and then on say, the weekends.
