The Pachinko Castlevania of course! Now showcasing the cast of characters, new gameplay features and a brief overview of the games that inspired this new entry.
During the last two decades, Konami has struggled with the Castlevania series, specially in the transition to 3D, first with the Castlevania 64 games and recently with the Lord of Shadows arc. The Osaka-based corporation recognizes the series has lacked that extra oomph that made it once famous, and after thorough investigation they discovered that the series needed a new direction. The only way to engage the aging fans of the series was through two of the human race favorite vices, erotism and violence, but they also recognized that tying the series to a home console was not the best medium to represent their new direction, hence the idea of developing their own machines to fulfill their vision.
