I watched a lot of “Games Done Quick” this past week, a biannual event in which some of the best speedrunners get together for nearly 160 straight hours of getting through games in different ways, all done as quickly as possible. They use different incentives, prizes, and bid wars to encourage people to donate, 100% of which goes to charity, normally Doctors Without Borders in the case of “Summer Games Done Quick.”

While I unfortunately missed a few good ones such as the 70-star Super Mario 64 race, both Spyro games, A Hat in Time, Celeste, and Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy, and missed segments of many more, I also got to see a lot of good stuff, including runs that I simply happened to tune into without prior knowledge of. I’d love to go over each one in detail (and perhaps one day I will), but for now, here is my complete list of every single game I saw at SGDQ 2018 for at least five minutes or more (unless the run was less than five minutes, of course!) So even if a game’s final time was five hours, I might have only watched it for one, or even just half an hour. It’s still a lot, though...
