Oh, hello! Didn't notice you there. Allow me to re-introduce myself, my name is not Shiryu but online that moniker suits me very well. What I am is insane, much like the day I decided to celebrate the 25 years of the Blue Bomber by releasing music reinterpretations of the iconic themes of his 8-bit glory days. I am one of those people that when set's his mind in motion, pretty much nothing will stop me from reaching the objective, something I can surely blame on my video game upbringing. I have no clue when this project will be complete, but while it is ongoing I will be sharing progress with everyone here in Kotaku's TAY.
Today I bring you "Mega Man XXV - The Second", a humble fifteen track EP covering the music of one of everyone's favourite Mega Man entries, the 1988's huge Famicom / NES success "Mega Man 2", a sequel that took the already quite solid groundwork of the original and turned everything up to eleven. Grab it in your favourite flavour from the links below:
"But what of the original Mega Man?" I heard no one ask but will anyway answer that both the soundtrack of the original 1987 Famicom Rock Man / NES Mega Man along with the very first "Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge" for the Game Boy have already been covered in two previous EP releases in late 2013. Click your mice cursor over here and here to grab them. Unless you're not old-school like me and have one of those fancy touch-screen things that operate with your finger tip and witchcraft.
As usual, all the current Shiryu Music news at Facebook. If you have any kind or hateful words you would like to address me in real-time, please fell free the join me and the most villainous scum to ever grace IRC. Until we meet again: Play Hard, Play Loud!
