Including myself! But after finishing Dragon Age: Inquisition today, I felt like giving the soundtrack a try, and to my surprise the orchestralic soundtrack had a few fitting tracks! Normally, the more synthesized music from Japanese composers are more speed up-compatible, but this was a pleasant surprise!
For the uninitiated among you, SPEED UP >>> is an experiment of mine where I increaset he speed of some video game music tracks and see whether they sound any good - or maybe even better - at 50% increased speed. Only a few dozen tracks are usable when speed-up, and even fewer are worth a general recommendation. Those that pass the test have been compiled in this YouTube playlist.
Today I have three new tracks that I’ve speed-up, from BioWare’s newest game. The first two tracks are save bets, nothing outstanding but still fun to listen to at least once. But the third track, “The Lie In Which You Linger” takes the cake, so be sure to give it a listen!
As always, feedback is appreciated!
PS: Before anyone asks, after playing through the Mass Effect trilogy, I did had a look at the soundtrack of those games, but sadly none of them qualified for SPEED UP >>>.
