Another week, another Forum. Another forum, another day. Another day...another something. Sorry, I thought I had something but I guess not, but what else is new? As ever, I hope you’re all having a great week. My vacation is over and while I hate that it went by so fast (that’s relativity for you) I’m actually glad it is, I was tired of staying home all day.
As for what I’ve been doing, the answer to that is a lot of DBFZ. Diving a bit deeper into it but I seriously wish there was a tutorial a la Guilty Gear Xrd. The MvC combo trials do nothing for me and story mode could’ve used a bit more work. The fanservice is top notch tho, any fan will greatly appreciate this. Oh and I watched Quakecon too! Doom Eternal is looking mighty fine, but I do have to wonder why people are taking offense with the “mortally challenged” line. It’s frigging demons people, cmon!
In the nongaming department, I started reading Silence of the Lambs. Got a pocket version for cheap these days and figured why the heck not. I never actually watched the movie adaptation, so I’m going in blind, as God intended. But wait, there’s more! I also indulged in the Nipponic ritual of Light Novel reading. Picked up Konosuba and much like Spice & Wolf, the anime stops right when its gonna get to the good stuff. Why does the anime industry do this? The answer is probably capitalism.
Also, last night I watched Upgrade. The movie was okay, but I guessed all the plot twists at the halfway point since they were kinda obvious. However, it more than made up for it with some pretty brutal kills. Overall an enjoyable popcorn movie.
But enough talk! Have at ye!
