Oh hello there, you were not expecting to see me here today, right? Well... TOO BAD! You’re stuck with me for a second day in a row.
But worry not, you’re in no obligation to listen to (read: read) my bickering, because today’s OF is all about music that you can’t listen to cause it feels like someone is stabbing your brain with q-tips.
I bought the new Yoshi game last Friday after having a positive experience with the demo that was released a few months ago by Nintendo. The game itself feels like taking a walk through a park that’s full of all your favorite things - it’s pleasant, relaxing and it fills you with doses of joy that you probably didn’t know it existed.
It all sounds amazing and it is... but you already know where I am going to take this (I mean I foreshadowed it two paragraphs above). The music in Yoshi’s Crafted World is...
Okay well... it isn’t exactly bad, there’s an argument somewhere that the soundtrack does exactly what it was set to do. But the overall experience with the soundtrack is pretty lackluster considering that the previous Yoshi title had quite the eclectic selection of tracks.
Bleh... moving on~
