Ladies and gentlemen, I’m free. I’m so free, that you can call me Mr. Freeman. All bad joking aside, I’m now on somewhat a long vacation until the results of the admission exam come in. More than a month from now, so I have a lot of free time. Time I decided would be best spent on videogames! Clearly, the correct choice. I’m also been made aware that today is Thanksgiving! We don’t celebrate that down here in South America, but for everyone up there in Murica, happy holidays and I hope you all have a fantastic time!

Anyway. I started my quest by revisiting an old gem that many of you probably never heard about: Quintet’s magnum opus Terranigma. I actually lost an old save file and need to start from scratch. But that’s okay, it gives me the chance to remember every little thing about it. That’s something I always loved about this game, the fact that your journey is filled with these little side stories about the people you encounter on the road, and isn’t that what journeys are all about? Cant forget about the soundtrack, that is up there with classics such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI. Seriously, find a way to play this game. Oh and I also installed Doki Doki Literature Club because the internet said it was the ultimate bait and switch. The Internet was right (as always). I won’t spoil it for you in case you were living under a rock for the past month, so just ignore all the warnings on the Steam page for it and play for an hour or so then get back at me. It’s free too, so no excuses.

As for nonvideo gamey stuff, I joined a gym! Two words: everything hurts. Expected yes, but I think Scorpions once made a great song about “No pain no gain”, so for everyone out there, suck it up and endure it. It was about time as well, my doc said I need to jog at least 3 times a week. That was six months ago. Guess how many times I did it? Hint: Not enough. But I’ll get there you’ll see.

I love Skyfall, but this is the better opening

NOW! Question Time!

  • I recently rewatched the newest Bond movies because I thought I was done with spy movies and boy how wrong I was. Skyfall is probably my favorite of them. What’s yours?
  • Still on the topic of movies, what was the worst movie you saw this year?
  • This week I met someone from high school I haven’t seen in forever. We talked for good 10 minutes but I could not for the love of me remember his name. It was a bit awkward. So what are your “favorite” awkward moments?
  • How do you like to enjoy your vacations?
  • And of course, what are your grateful for this holiday?

Go forth! And Talk Amongst Thyselves!
