I'm really feeling it!

Open Forum: Stay A While And Listen

Ok, I’m not actually that old, but I was feeling lazy today. Leave me alone ¬¬

Welcome to the Open Forum, hosted by Kotaku’s reader-run blog, TAY. Feel free to join in the topic discussion, leave a comment about anything or simply check out the other articles on TAY, AniTAY and TAYClassic. If this is your first time on TAY, don’t forget to play the TAYTorial for some sweet guidance.

Hello TAY! What can I do for ye today? What’s that? You need a new weapon? Let me just roll the die and see what I can come up with. Lucky you, I have a mace with +2 in skull crushing and it has your name on it! That will be 8000 gold oh, and no refunds!

Ok seriously now, this week I got hit with nostalgia and it landed a crit. The original Diablo was released on GOG this week and much to my surprise, my old man got himself a copy. The original is one of those games I never actually played myself but I can tell you pretty much anything about it just from the many years I watched my father play that when I was way too young to be watching him play. And that’s exactly what we did last night. Funny how some things simply don’t change. We discussed lore, gear, legitimately got scared in one of the rooms, gold duped to our hearts content, last night I was a kid all over again. They simply don’t make games like these anymore. Besides that, a new semester has started but that’s infinitely less interesting so let’s leave it at that XD.

It’s like there’s something creeping just behind you...

Alright then. Let’s see what questions the RNG will bring today.

  • How’s the week?
  • What things take you right back to your childhood?
  • Have you played games with your parents?
  • What voice clips are forever burned into your mind?
  • Happy Pi(e) day! This isn’t a question, I just wanted to wish you a happy pi day.

Now go and Talk Amongst Yourselves! And if you feel like talking with some other peeps in real time, why not join the TAY Discord server? We have fun and games and maids. No, seriously.
