I'm really feeling it!

[PSA] Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Missing Quests, Missing Voices, Odd Translation, And DLC Issues

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth has recently been released on February 2, 2016 in NA, and seems to be off to a good start in term of sales. Unfortunately, both version seems to be plagued with issues.

Both

Missing Purple Quests - Both version seem to be missing the purple quests. However, it appears that some PS4 review copies contain the quest, and possibly select PS4 copies. Most report the quest to be missing from both PS4 and PSVita version.

The purple quests is the only way to unlock Dianamon.

In fact, the slot for Dianamon seems to be missing for many copies.

No Cross Buy On DLC - While this doesn’t seem to be an issue for most, it is an issue for those who intend on getting both version but not at the same time. If you have the DLC unlocked for one version, you need the DLC on the other version for the cross-save to work. Otherwise, you get this error message.

Some of you might be thinking, Bandai Namco will release the DLC later on but historically speaking, Bandai Namco keeps preorder DLCs exclusive to preorders. So for those who miss out on one version, this will be an issue that will continue to plague players.

Strangely enough, the EU preorder code unlocks the DLCs (themes included) for both version. SO the issue seems to be contained to NA.

Error in the quizzes -Either due to some translation errors or improper mapping, the Digimon quizzes give bizarre results.

PS4

Not Enough Preorder Codes - Bandai Namco has underestimated the demand for Digimon, and did not have enough Preorder DLC Code to go around. Currently, there are many players still waiting for the DLC codes.

No Digimon Themes For Retail PS4 Copies - The most disappointing news is that anyone who preorder the retail copy will be missing out on two sweet Digimon themes, previously unannounced. In the NA, it seems to be exclusive to digital only while EU will be receiving the theme with retail preorders.

PSVita

Unfortunately, despite being the base version, the PSVita encounter more errors than it should.

Missing Voice Tracks - From Chapter 4 through 6, various characters seem to be missing their voice tracks. As noted by Tamer Union, one of the notable missing lines is when Yuuko pretends to be a teenager.

Overall, the game is good. However, there are issues here and there that shouldn’t be there. Bandai Namco has not made any statement regarding fixes for these
