Pacman wokka wokkas down the street. He sees his friend Jose and wokkas. Today is his 5th anniversary with Ms. Pacman. Dating anniversary, as she refuses to marry and lose her iconic "Ms." status. Sometimes it gets Pacman down but today he is on top of the world. He stops in to the flower shop and buys a dozen Pellets, and a nice card. Ah, to be in love.
Pacman's cell phone rings and it's his mother. She wants to know why he never calls her anymore, or why she can't see her grandkids. Also she says there are ghosts in her walls. Pacman feels incredible guilt for sticking grandma pac in a nursing home but he had no other choice. She should feel grateful to him, it costs him almost his entire paycheck just to pay for her care.
What do video game characters do during their time off?
Does Nathan Drake teach Archaeology or go bicycling around NYC? Does Mario actually do work (I'd probably fire him, he never clears the drains properly)? Is the antagonism between two characters just for show, when they clock out are they good friends?
Got an idea for a great Question of the day? Mail it to me, Aikage. Don’t worry, I’ll give credit where credit is due, just be sure to include your Kotaku username in the email. Question of the day may or may not have to do with video games, so don't worry if your question pertains to where Pacman puts his purchases.
