Hi all, the NES mini isn’t at my house. Which is too bad but I just couldn’t get it. With tons of fans raging over the shortage, and with the Switch reported during Nintendo’s last investors briefing to only ship two million world wide (that’s not much) I’ll bet the Switch will be stocked too little as well.
But there’s a good reason, and let MatPat explain you why with Amiibo’s. Amiibo’s as you recall had the same “problem”, but Matthew makes a compelling argument why it’s not only intentional, but also ultimately a good business move for both Nintendo and it’s end-consumers.
