It is with great sadness I report the death of actor Bob Hoskins due to pneumonia. He was 71 and leaves behind a brilliant acting career. Having retired back in 2012 after being diagnosed with Parkinson's the previous year. I first "met" Bob in the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" but will probably remember him most fondly for the angry, angry Italian descent plumber Mario Mario, one half of the Mario Brothers Plumbing Company from the "so bad it's good" 1993 movie "Super Mario Brothers", a movie that is part of my guilty pleasure videogame-to-movie disaster trilogy (with "Street Fighter" and "Double Dragon" in case you're wondering).
Rest In Peace, good sir. Can only hope wherever you are, you're now fighting the good fight along with Dennis Hopper. Here is the whole movie below for everyone to enjoy.
