I'm really feeling it!

Back in September, I mentioned that this figurine, the S.F.B.T-3 (Special Fullaction Body Type) was on sale,

Now it has *FINALLY haha finally。◕ ‿ ◕。* come to my doorstep, but 1st the unboxing. Includes a bit of the articulation.

Even with the 2nd box, it was so light that it surprised me. This is due to its material, ABS resin.

Its face is more towards 90’s anime look, maybe early 2000’s. Considering that this doll took 10 years to make before its 1st sale in 2013, sounds about right. I couldn’t close its eyelids entir...

GAHHHH!!! I don’t remember asking for a horror doll! ‷̗ↂ凸ↂ‴̖

Total panic for 1.3 seconds there, and then I remember the instructions.

There’s actually an indentation at the top of the head which I just fingernailed it to slide it off and I used cotton tips to take out the eyes. Next was the face...and those are the easy parts.

See that black area? That’s the sponge. The sponge is supposed to prevent the eyeballs from falling out.

It took quite a while before I could get all the sponge out of the way of the eyeballs. And I tried to change the position of the eye balls but the same eyeball kept falling out. Some 30 to 45 minutes was wasted before I got it to look nice and ban myself from fiddling the eyes. After all, I could just imagine and draw it, myself.

While trying to position the figurine, I push the ribs off a few times but it was easy to slot it back in because it was still somewhat kept in place by the other numerous parts. Let’s get the real photo shoot on the road now! \(^O^)/

That sword is actually part of a set of a Wolverine 1/6 figurine set. The sword was a little over 20USD. I don’t have any gun sets because it seem pretty expensive. I’m hoping to find a nice set with basic guns. But perhaps I can do without it for awhile longer as it does take a bit of effort to make her hold a sword...

In the middle of this, Ginger 1 of the 2 housecats decides to throw a hissy fit and chew the bubble wrap. Usually he is the well behaved cat, but the other spoiled kitten rarely disturbs this time...ಠ_ಠ

Milo Manara’s infamous Spiderwoman cover, (this is a possible position) because why the heck not? The guy is usually great with his work, don’t really know the details of why he decided to have a shoddy cover.

Last one...

Well, almost...Another con to add would be the stand. It doesn’t revolve 360 degrees as you can see, just up and down.

To summarize,

A very detailed, light and durable (I drop her face once) figurine.

80 Articulations.

It is already assembled.

The movements are very much like an average human.

Changing the position of the figurine is smooth unlike a wooden mannequin.

Free maintenance for a year (but you pay the shipping).

Easy way to plop parts apart or back again.

The structure to move the eyes is on the loose side.

No revolving 360 degrees stand.

Its costs 300 and an additional 21USD for shipping.

Quite a wonderful figurine (ノ^_^)ノ, it would give me some extra oomph to my artwork especially since nude art classes are banned due to religious zealots in my country (Malaysia). Yes, that does include pornography if you were wondering.

Oh yes, here’s some pictures of the male prototype, S.F.B.T-4 (found on twitter). No idea when the maker would start selling these.

Lastly, I would like to talk about someone who sadly didn’t get their figurine (Fobhopper). From my investigations, this is before Dolk moved the order site to their main site at dolkus.com so its likely that some things got mixed up. If anyone of you who order from them and you get a little scared, you should wait before 180 days is up because Paypal increased their buyer’s protection. Too bad it wasn’t earlier for Fobhopper...(◞‸◟;) The latest that they send is somewhere around 3 months.

Message them on their Facebook or used their shop’s inquiry for fast replies. If you have any questions, please comment below and I’ll try my best to answer it. For now, I need a break as filming, shooting photos and editing youtube and this article took way too many hours. (●´⌓`●)

To message them:

(Edit: This figurine is 1/6 but it is a little smaller than 12 inches probably because of the male figure.)

Disclaimer: I bought this figurine with my own money. I am not affiliated with M-field (Maker) or Dolk Station (Distributor).
