… O 2018… CEO 2018… CEO 2018. Was hype! That was some good ass Tekken! Lil Majin, one of my favorite players to watch, had the absolute most exciting match. He’s easily the best King player in the USA and might even be the best in the world.
I like Injustice 2, but I love Mortal Kombat X. If they can only have one, then I would wish that tournaments drop Injustice 2 in favor of MKX. Thankfully I got my fix at Viennality. It’s more exciting to watch. Injustice 2 already had way too many zoning characters to begin with, but then NRS went out of their way to add more as DLC. Deadshot, Green Arrow, Dr. Fate, Firestorm, almost every character has some zoning potential. But then they go and add Starfire, who’s also a zoner. Note: Zoning is when you stay away from your opponent and throw projectiles. It’s not exactly entertaining to watch.
Lebron James is now a Laker. I. Am. Shocked! Shocked, I say! Come on now. It’s not like we didn’t know this was gonna happen. Everyone knew for months he was leaving. And after what happened… Can you really blame him? “I thought we was up, baby!” - J.R. Smith
Be careful how you express your opinions, this is the internet. The Arenanet controversy has proven to be more divisive than some may have anticipated. One of these poor individuals is Gearbox Software’s CEO, Randy Pitchford. It’s about time this man learn from his past and become a bit more self aware. We all remember ‘girlfriend mode’. I almost started a YouTube series called “Girlfriend Mode” before I got dumped. Of course I have an opinion on this, but like I said before, this is the internet. The appropriate response is silence.
Back to the status quo. The folks are no longer in town. So it’s time for me to crawl back into my hole and, like the song says, “dig in again”. It’s time for me to get some much needed ‘alone time’, and to be by myself too. To say that I’m not outgoing would be an understatement. But shit, I got work to do.
I wish I can be one of those people who shamelessly tries to show everyone what they’ve done. Someone shared one of my YouTube videos on reddit. This is something I’ve always been hesitant to do. I always feel like I’m tooting my own horn. I’m nowhere near flexible enough to do that. In the end I rationalize by saying: “If it’s really worth anything, someone else will share it.” My wish has been granted. I regret recording it the way I did though. I hate the sound of my own voice, so I was trying something.
This is what I love to see! There’s a fighting game tournament called, Celtic Throwdown, taking place in Dublin on August 25th and 26th. But they’ve already posted the stream schedule. Too many times have I seen events completely neglect information like this. I’ve seen way too many “Schedule to be announced” on the day the event is supposed to begin, and I’m not the only one. At first I assume that it’s completely offline, no stream. But more often than not, they list that they will be streaming, but neglect to list links to the streams. Then I assume that it’s just a prank and they have no interest in having people tune into the stream. Come on, man… If people watch the event they might get interested enough to attend it next time. Come on, man, keep it together. Giants: Citizen Kabuto… Giants: Citizen Kabuto… Giants: Citi...
