This certainly was a Sayori panel, but not so much a Nekopara panel. Days in advance Deciga announced they’d be crashing this panel, and they did it in a glorious fashion. We got some interesting facts, some cool announcements, and lots of trolling.
Set in alternate 1980’s East Germany where BETA (Beings of Extraterrestrial Origin) devastate the Earth, the Muv-Luv spinoff called Schwarzesmarken follows the 666th TSF Squadron, also known as the “Black Marks”. This TSF squad that the show takes its name after is no ordinary squad however, as they are the best that…
Nick Creamer’s recent ANN preview remarks sparked a fair amount of angst among Muv Luv fans and many found them unsubstantiated. Unfortunately, said fans are delusional. Let’s look at the facts below:
Today, the Muv-Luv Kickstarter is coming to an end. Having shattered previous visual novel Kickstarters with over US$1 million, it ends on a final high-note. The end result is that one of the most highly regarded pieces of Japanese literature is coming to English.
The Muv-Luv Kickstarter just hit its $720,000 stretch goal as a result of the most recent update, which included adding a wall scroll to the gift bag tiers and revealing the final stretch goal $900,000. If $900k is cracked, there will be more additions to the existing tiers.
After reaching the Vita/Android stretch goal, the Muv-Luv Kickstarter will now have two physical Vita reward tier.
To the surprise of no one, Ani-TAY’s Muv-Luv correspondents gather to discuss the series. In this first episode, Dex, Exile, Kinksy, Krakken_Unleashed, and Messiah discuss the series, how we found it, and what made Muv-Luv special to us.
Having started just one week ago, the kickstarter to localise arguably the best Visual Novel ever made (and one of the best stories ever created) has now passed the $500,000 point, unlocking digital versions for both the Playstation Vita and Android platforms. Further details will be forthcoming from the team shortly,…
Muv-Luv, the visual novel franchise that inspired Attack on Titan a decade ago, is now on Kickstarter to be officially localized in English for the first time. Muv-Luv Alternative, one of the novels to be localized, is considered by Japanese and western audiences to be one of the greatest visual novels in history.
Hey everyone! Welcome to the Graveyard Shift, the nightly hang-out hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about anything - your lives, your gaming habits, or whatever else you desire. Hop on in and join the discussion! When you're done here, you could always go check out the articles over at …
I've been watching anime, reading manga, and playing visual novels for over a year now and in that time I've experienced some real extremes. I'm talking crazy, normal, pandering, and worst fictional messages. Here's some of the worst offenders (or perhaps best offenders) and vice versa.
I know what you're thinking. "Dex, you're writing about this again?" Yes, yes I am. I'm talking about it again because it really was a defining entry in the genre, at least for me. It was the culmination of the intersection between sci-fi, deconstructionism, and postmodernism for the modern era, and it continues to…
Four months ago, I started the first game of the Muv-Luv saga, one of two defining entries in the âge-verse. Around the time I finished Alternative, I decided to revisit it four months after I began, this time with the experience of a Muv-Luv veteran.
Hey guys, I just released a video review for Muv Luv, and while I was doing that, I rewrote several parts of the review so it would flow better, so I thought I'd share this video and update with you guys.
More Muv-Luv! I'm sure all of you here on TAY is absolutely sick and tired of me and Dex mentioning Muv-Luv pretty much every week and are probably prepared to make silly ANTI-MUV-LUV pictures to respond every time Muv-Luv is mentioned, but we just can't help but talk about this series. Today on Rockmandash Reviews,…
Today I'm starting yet another journey into the Muv-Luv universe with a look at Alternative Chronicles 01: a collection of stories set in the Muv-Luv Unlimited universe. Three stories are included: Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After Episode 00, Chicken Divers, and Rain Dancers.
Just when I figure I've closed the book on Muv-Luv, I end up opening it again. This time I'm playing through Altered Fable, a fandisc by âge for Muv-Luv Alternative. While its primary reason for existing is just to give fans some fun, it's also odd in that it completely closes the story.
Muv-Luv is a saga that I consider to be one of the greatest in history. Its dedication to its dark story reminds us all how good it is to be alive. Many of us regard our lives as rather bland and boring endeavors, so Muv-Luv smacked us across the face and defiantly said, "Enjoy it while you can".
Today I'm reviewing Muv-Luv Alternative; the third part of the Muv-Luv visual novel saga that began with the two-part Muv-Luv. It's a story of self-discovery, loss, and, most cliche of all, love. It's also, hands down, one of the greatest masterpieces in storytelling I've ever experienced.
Officially known by the rather long name Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse. This series was mentioned to me out of the blue to help me clear my palate after the disastrous results of mixing the latest episode of Valvrave with the penultimate episodes of Code Geass' season one. Hey, it worked.
