Having just read Nyren’s well-intentioned argument in favor of Linkle, I’d like to offer a point for consideration. Also, I haven’t written an article for TAY in a million years, so I thought it was time to get back on the horse!

Fresh out of his 34th birthday, Pac-Man finally arrived in the mail today. I admit I am jumping into this one at a disadvantage: I am not familiar with the recent TV show on which this game is based on. But I was quite fond of the "Pac-Man World" video games for GameCube so I decided to give this a try.
That's right, 34 years ago Pakkuman arrived at Arcades and after capturing our hearts and imagination, it capture our quarters much like the Invaders from Space one year earlier. Namco made sure that he remains strong in today's video gaming landscape, in fact I hope to have a "First Play" video soonish for you guys…
I simply cannot believe there is such a rift between those who want games with stories and those who want games with solely gameplay. Is there something I'm missing in this divide? I have seen some who value gameplay over story and vice versa but why would you want either one or the other? Okay, strike that, I can see…
