Hey all you TAYers, Crisco here. Over the last weekend, Dexter finally lumbered towards its conclusion like a drowsy bear that had been waiting far too long to hibernate. Based on that analogy, it seems pretty obvious I was not much of a fan this season, but I will give the finale some credit for rekindling some of my enjoyment of the show. Are there any Dexter fans in the house? What did you think?
This got me thinking about endings though. As I reflect back on games, anime, tv, and movies that I have watched, it seems clear that endings are hard to pull off right. The journey is easy in a sense, but wrapping that all up into a coherent package? Not so much....
So, what are some endings that nailed it for you? Endings that stick out for not being a lumbering bear stumbling towards the finish, but ones that stick out as confidently striding towards that end line?
For me, that ending is probably Breaking Bad. I know we are still one episode away, but the course set this year has been so meticulous, so perfect. CRISCO. IS. EXCITE.
But, let's say you are not interested in serious topics. U too kewl for serz biz. That's fine. Last week the soup battle was fun. This week, I present: ICE CREAM WARS. I am a coffee ice cream man. Cappuccino chip if I am feeling fancy. Strawberry ice cream is an abomination though. #TeamCappuccinochip #FUSTRAWBERRY
So, those are some suggestions for discussion. Remember, they are absolutely just suggestions. Feel free to talk about anything you want!
