Hello everyone, and welcome to the Open Forum, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life, video games, or anything else, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. Then, when you're done, feel free to peruse the articles on TAY and TAYClassic. Is this your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial!

Hidey-Ho, TAY!

Who here has watched Monsters and Mysteries in America? It's on Destination America, a sister station to Discovery Channel. This is what Wikipedia has revealed to me. It must be telling me the truth.

Now, I have not watched any of it myself but I have been told by a Swan that it is a time suck (much like the time suck that is Law & Order:SVU), full of sometimes awesome re-enactments, and the heebie-jeebies. Who does not want to learn about all the places in the United States that you should keep away from? Because monsters?

For today's suggested topics, should you wish to pick any or all:

1. Share your favourite local ghost/urban legend/mythical monster stories while we still have daylight (for some of us, anyway).

2. Share your favourite mythical monsters (and hope they are not real. Shifty eyes welcome).

3. Share your favourite "time suck" programming.

4. Share your favourite "time wasting" games.

As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves if ain't nobody got time for being scared or if ain't nobody got time for time! It is the Open Forum, after all. Don't forget that the IRC Channel is always around for you to carry out discussions as well.
