Hello everyone, and welcome to the Open Forum, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life video, games, or anything else, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. Then, when you're done, feel free to peruse the articles on TAY and TAYClassic. Is this your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial! Also, don't forget the IRC Chatroom. And the DirecTAYry is here for all your contacting needs.

My family and I have made a pretty big decision over the last week: we're moving! Not far, or anything, but out of our 105-year-old duplex. No more shared walls at last! Of course, this changes a lot about how my next few months will go. Unfortunately, I probably won't be making any cosplay things this year. Sorry you Jem fans out there. I'll have to try and get her costume done next year. (Just in time for the movie?) And I'll probably need some emergency contacts if I can't do the Forum for a few weeks. (Shadow?)

The move has also got me into thinking about what I have to have to take to the new house. After my games and systems, surprisingly the other thing I have to have is paper. Or at least paper I've written on. I never had a computer until I was 22 or so, and anything I've written before then was on stacks (and stacks) of paper. Since I've spend most of my life composing poetry and songs and stories, I'm finding out that boxes of papers will be making the move with me. (I totally need a scanner and storage device.)

My fellow TAYers, what would you have to have when you moved from where you are?

If you don't want to talk about this, feel free to talk about anything!

And Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have great weekends!
