Ello mates! Let’s make the most of this MonTAY!

This Sunday I spent my day in San Francisco’s Alamo Drafthouse. They had opened back in December and been meaning to make a trip out there. Luckily for me they had a special screening of District 9 which also included a Q&A with director Neil Blomkamp moderated by mythbuster Adam Savage.

I had not seen the movie since its initial release in 2009 and at the time I wasn’t floored like so many of my peers. This time around I had a much more positive reaction to the film. The special effects still hold up and the story seems more relevant now than it did back then.

Has there been a time where you disliked something initially only to come back later and have change of heart?
