A big congratulations is in order for our first Open Forum Photoshop contest winner, Mr Marsu! He wasn't happy with the low resolution of the image, but he sure made the best of it, didn't he? We have some more entries, but they weren't posted to the right spot (GBD and Kaploy9, I'm looking at you). Please submit all your entries to this link for a chance to be the featured image for the Open Forum.
In housekeeping news, a new author has been added to the TAY front page. Everyone give a big congratulations to PyramidHeadCrab (formerly known as HerpDerpDerp on old TAY). He's got a few projects in the works, so keep an eye out for his articles. Word of warning, he's got very strong opinions, so if you're easily offended, I'd warn you to steel yourself for his works. He's a good guy, though.
That takes care of all the formalities, so did everyone have a good weekend? We sure had some fun on TAY. I spent the majority of my time playing MH3U. I'm on the 9 star village quests, so that's fun. I also did some more work on my wife's cosplay costume. I didn't take any pictures, but I made earrings for her costume out of clay and spent some time on Sunday sanding them down to the right size and shape. I have to say, for a first effort, I'm really impressed with how well they came out! Now we just need to get some paint for them.
So, what projects did you undertake this weekend? It can be anything from washing your car (which I did, and it took me 3.5 freaking hours) to doing something awesome in a video game, and anything inbetween! I want to know, so tell me!
Also, don't forget that the Kickstarter for our very own Habboi's A Hat in Time is still going strong. If you haven't already contributed, I strongly urge you to do so! The game looks amazing, and we want to make sure he has so much work to do that he can't post here anymore!
Keep the conversation going over at TAYCLASSIC, where you're a lot less likely to get as sunburned as I did working outside this weekend. I mean, it's seriously red there. It doesn't hurt...much...but it's mildly irritating. That's got to count for something, right? Right?!
