Wuzzup tayers and nayers!

(You know who you are, you nayers you!)

A few weeks ago I invested in “The Good life” kickstarter. A game made by the same guy who made the adorable Deadly Premonition. This is the second crowdfunding the game has after the first one failed, and unfortunately it looks like this one will fail to.

I supposed here is the part where I would go ahead and say “pleeease consider backing this kickstarter”, but I don’tr eally feel comfortable doing that. When you invest in something like that you really shouldn’t become too hyped about the project. I mean in the end you pay for the promise of a product rather than a product. Hence I don’t really pay for a lot of kickstarters. The most recent one is Jenny Leclue that was 3 years ago , and that isn’t even out yet, although it is looking lovely so far. I would like to think I invest in games that I find graphically appealing, and offers a game concept that you don’t really see traditional publishers invest much in. Hence it makes sense in giving them a chance.

Speaking of wasting money, I’m considering, meaning I probably will, buy a VR headset this week unless something unexpected happen economically. This was part of the idea of me getting a new graphic card and after working some extra hours I feel like I am in a position where I can invest in something extravagance. I’ve notice that people here aren’t really talking much about VR so I might be able to give some insight in how using one is. Stayed tuned for next weeks Open forum when that might happen.

Anyway, here are some suggested topics to discuss this week:

  • What game that never seems to be released would you like to have been made? (And let’s try keep the too obvious ones out of the discussion, looking at you Half-life 3. You are dead to me!)
  • Have you tried VR? If you have or haven’t, what is your opinion about it?
  • Or talk about anything!
