Good cake to you all!

I don‚Äôt usually kickstart stuff. Except the times I did when it was cool. Overall I don‚Äôt really feel like I need to back games that are driven by nostalgia from other old games. So some of the most successful kickstarters has passed me by even though I‚Äôve enjoyed the games coming out of them. But when I saw the campaign for ‚ÄúThe Good life‚ÄĚ, it felt like the type of a game I would really want to back. Because it is from a experienced developer and a completely new franchise that is pretty weird. So I backed the game at the first day. Although I am sad to say it seems like it wont reach its goal. At the time of writing it is almost at a respectable half a million, which is a shittone of money, but just a third of what they asked for. I would say they overestimated how much money ‚Äúthe creator of deadly premonition‚ÄĚ would bring in by name. Yet reading how they want to design the game it seems like a pretty large project overall so in that regard their goal seems adequate. Still it is sad to see that the game might not be made. I hope they manage somehow.

Aaaand that’s pretty much all I got. Sorry! I’ve pretty much wasted my time the evening before this is published playing PUBG. It was a lovely evening though. We even won one game. So I’ll just cut this short and suggest a few topics to discuss this week:

  • Tell us about a game you ‚Äúlook¬†forward to‚ÄĚ, that probably wont ever be made.
  • What was the most recent failure in your life that you can recall?
  • What do you prefer, the 80s, 90s or 2000s?
  • Or talk about anything!
